Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Alternativa (the "Service"), including the website and mobile apps. The Service is operated by Alternativa LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Alternativa is a platform for public polls. Users vote on polls, suggest new polls, follow authors and view poll analytics. Polls are published from user suggestions after moderation.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep one account per person.
3. Coins
Coins are a virtual currency used only inside the Service. You earn 1 coin for each vote and can buy coin packs. Coins can be spent on features such as unlocking poll analytics, submitting suggestions and changing a vote.
Coins:
- have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, withdrawn or redeemed outside the Service;
- cannot be transferred or sold to another account;
- are a limited license to use features of the Service, not property you own;
- may be lost if your account is closed for breaching these Terms.
4. Purchases
Current coin packs:

Prices in the app stores may be shown in your local currency and may include taxes. Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe; purchases in the iOS and Android apps are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. We never see or store your full card details. Coins are added to your account once the payment is confirmed. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
You are responsible for the suggestions, reasons, profile text, links and feedback you post. You keep ownership of your content and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it as part of operating the Service. Your nickname and the choice you vote for may be shown in a poll's live vote feed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- post unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or misleading content;
- manipulate votes, including with multiple accounts, bots or scripts;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
- interfere with, probe or overload the Service or its security;
- use the Service to spam or advertise without our permission.
7. Moderation and termination
We may review, reject or remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app under Settings → Public profile → Delete my account. Coins on a deleted account are lost.
8. Disclaimers
The Service and poll results are provided "as is" and "as available". Poll results reflect the votes of participating users and are not scientific surveys. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory protections.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
